TMD is quite an ‘out-there’ band – death metal based, yet loaded with electronics, symphonics, samples, strange grooves, etc. Avant-garde metal perhaps? In any case, a treat for fans of weird stuff.

Dordeduh – Har

The legends are back. Founded in 2009 by two former members of Negura Bunget (where they made some of the best black metal music ever), they released the superb Dar de Duh in 2012 and went silent since. Such talent must not go to waste and this is finally being remedied. If folky progressive black metal sounds good, don’t even hesitate.

Throat – Smile Less

Finnish sludge/noise rock. I reviewed their last record “Bareback” in 2018 but wasn’t really impressed, though I did note there’s potential. I like the singles so far so I’ll be glad to check out the full thing.
