Upcoming Albums

Upcoming Albums – February 3

Here are Metal Utopia’s most anticipated albums of the week!

Elderseer – Drown In The Shallowness

Elderseer’s debut full-length features as much sad and contemplative doom as you can handle. It lasts a little too long for me, but has some solid riffs and vocal moments.

Endorphins Lost – Night People

And on the completely opposite end of the energy spectrum sits Endorphins Lost. Loud and hectic powerviolence. The lyrics burn with anger, and the music reflects this.

Osiah – Chronos

A new Unique Leader deathcore EP. At this point, you either like the style or you don’t, but I can appreciate what they’re going for. A release intended to shake your bones as you listen to it.

Palace Of Worms – Cabal

Delightfully weird black-ish metal. The band went deep into a concept for this one, and while I didn’t get a distinct impression of what they were going for, they definitely went off the beaten path in an interesting way.
