Nadir – Exctinction Rituals

A debut black metal album that fits the mold about as well as their album art. Some of the melodies on this will burrow into your brain long after you are done listening.

Shodan – None Shall Prevail

Fast and full death metal. Reminds me of an angrier Cryptopsy, or a Behemoth that still enjoys music.

StartTheMonkey – Urban Psyche

The name almost made me not listen to this band, but I’m glad a did. Their brand of post…something…sludge? Doom? Whatever, it’s good, and you should check it out despite what they decided to call themselves.

The High Priests – Roden House Blues

Sweaty, desparate thrashy punk. Nothing more to say on this one, I had a fun, honest time here.
