New Transcending Obscurity releases are always something to pay attention to. This is some pounding OSDM from Sweden, a solid listen from beginning to end.

Henget – Beyond North Star

Black metal that’s nice and twisty. The music is as odd as the cover art, and is quite satisfying.

Gavial – VOR

Nice and smokey blues. Way more laid back than anything else on this list. I had a relaxed time listening to this.

Pa Vesh En – Martyrs

Iron Bonehead’s type of black metal always takes more attention that I think it will. After initial impressions I’m not sure what to think about this record, but there’s at least something to continue paying attention to.
