I thoroughly enjoyed Ghost’s previous album Impera, and more than that I have always been a fan of the EPs they like to release between album. Their covers are lessons in choosing the perfect song to play and adapting it so that it stays interesting, and I am eager to hear them try their hand at Iron Maiden. Bring it on, Tobias!
Last year I did an interview with Garry from Gonemage and I remained fascinated with his project. Imagine my joy in realizing a new album is coming! Retro 8-bit music with black metal harshness, this is a mix that yields unique and exquisite results.
I listened to their EP a few years ago I always remembered it because it was about Skyrim. So it’s safe to say, I just cannot wait for them to unleash their full potential with a whole album! And with a title worthy of Manowar, a great promise lies ahead. I am in need on epic power metal and this album might just be it.

One of the greats of experimental deathgrind are releasing an EP this week, which is technically just their side of a split with another band, but still cool to see.
Sludge/doom boys out of Massachusetts hitting it big with their second full-length. If you like noisy, abrasive, and crushing sludge, this is the record for you.
