Matthew has been listening to Gideon’s Cold:
A great hardcore album that I’ve been coming back to a lot recently. There’s some cool dissonance in the guitar that makes the music more memorable.
Jared has been listening to Myrkgrav’s Trollskau, Skrømt Og Kølabrenning:
Some awesome Norweigan folk/black that went under my radar until recently. Enough black metal that it feels cold and rough around the edges, but with a folk metal sense of melody.
Nathan has been listening to Chastain’s Ruler Of The Wasteland:
Chastain play heavy metal that blends 80s fantasy cheese with a heavier and more aggressive approach than their contemporaries. While Ruler Of The Wasteland isn’t their best album, it’s always a great way to spend your time.
