Sorrowful folk with an occasional edge. I don’t understand the lyrics at all, but that’s not different from most metal albums.

Cult Burial – Reverie Of The Malignant

Cult Burial play fun death metal with no rails on the gutters. A worthy follow-up to their self-titled release.

Myrkur – Spine

I reviewed Myrkur’s last release, Folkesange, a while back. I underrated it and still listen to it quite a bit. Excited for this one.

Vertebrae Atlantis – A Dialogue With The Eeriest Sublime

Another band from the Cosmic Putrefaction guy. While I don’t like everything this person puts out, all of his stuff is interesting. This is one of the ones I like, an eerie and weird black metal project. Happy I, Voidhanger day.
