Witch Mountain have graced us with a Top 10 Album of the Year candidate.
It fits the bill for doom fans while also appealing to the masses of metal heads.
This is an incredible record.
Barren Earth have a lot to be proud of here.
Slow, ponderous, and tragic.
A monstrous soundscape to accompany the weight of a nuclear crisis.
They bring the power and the glory of pure Doom and mix it with Crust, with Sludge, with Death, and create their own powerful, primal cocktail of poisoned stew.
A great combo split of two bands with differing, but complimentary sounds.
An underground gem which will survive as an early contender for album of the year.
This is not an easy listen.
